It starts TODAY! You can get creative while banishing the winter doldrums…. We are offering our first ever “Project LIBRARY Runway” with “Njordy Jelson”! (We are sure he misses the cold weather of Wisconsin and his loyal fans.)
Join us for our first ever Pint Sized Prom! This dance event is a great chance for littles birth to 8 to get dressed to the nines and come to the library. They will get to participate in the grand march, take photos, and dance. Bring friends and family for a fun outing this winter! The Friends of the Library will be providing snacks for donation. There is no fee or registration for this program.
School age children and their family/friends are invited to come build at the library any time between 4-6 pm. You can build based on our monthly theme, or build freestyle. We can barely wait to see what you will come up with!

Itsy Bitsy is a story time for birth to three. Children and their parent or caregiver can enjoy short stories, songs, and movement followed by social playtime.
Itsy Bitsy is offered most Wednesdays at 11:00 AM., see our Facebook events page for current updates. Registration is not required.
Itsy Bitsy LIMITED is offered on Tuesdays at 11:00 AM, but requires preregistration. Registration allows us to limit attendance to provide a story time for children who need or want a smaller, more intimate story time. Sessions with fewer than four participants will be cancelled.
Looking for something different to do with your friends or family this winter? Come on into the library to play some games! We have a cart of board games you are welcome to choose from. Simply use your library card or valid photo id to borrow a game at the front desk on Saturdays during our regular hours. Bring some friends and maybe even start a tournament! You are also welcome to bring your own game and hang out.
Dates: Saturdays in January, February, March, and April during regular hours.
These programs are for ages 3 to adult! Yes, we would love to see people of all ages participate. We will provide cocoa, feel free to bring a snack. See below for the monthly theme: Drop in between 1 and 2:30 to join us Bingo and Games will only be 1-2PM
January 21 :Card Making: We will provide cardstock, markers, colored pencils, stamps etc so you can focus on being creative. You are welcome to make cards to take with youor to make some to donate for our Valentines for Vets program.
February 18: Coloring and Puzzle Party: Gather with friends and make new ones as you choose to color using supplies we provide (you are welcome to bring your own). We will also have puzzles for all ages to work on collaboratively or individually.
March 18:Bingo: We will play bingo for fun and small prizes. Board games will also be available to play during this time.
Join us this to create your own fun this winter as our Winter Reading Club kicks off. You simply complete any of the activities on the record sheet and mark them off. Then, when you are done, return it to the front desk. You will be given prize tickets for up to ten completed activities. Give the gift of reading to a child or teen in Marinette County this holiday season. The Crivitz, Marinette, and Wausaukee public libraries are collecting NEW books to give to local partners, which will distribute the books to children and teens in need this holiday season. Together we can make a positive difference in the lives of children in our county. Please contact your local public library for more information.
