Voyageur: Northeast Wisconsin’s Historical Review is a local history magazine published twice a year by the Brown County Historical Society, and co-sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. At this event, editor David Voelker will give a brief history of the magazine’s 35 years of publication and explain how locals may submit articles for publication.
Following Professor Voelker’s introduction, Dr. Dan Kallgren will talk at length about the research and findings compiled in his Voyager article, “From Berggren’s to Super Walmart: The Evolving Food Retail Landscape in Marinette, Wisconsin.”

To compliment the BioBlitz display, Mariel will focus on books about nature–both fiction and nonfiction. In addition to bringing reading suggestions, Mariel will ask you about the books you are reading and the books you recommend to others.
