Summer 2018 Program Guide 8×14 (1)

May will feature our regular school year offerings of Preschool Story Time, Itsy Bitsy Story Time, Lego night,    Genealogy, and Wednesday Afternoon Book Club.

This summer we will be offering some favorites and some new options for all ages. Our theme is “Libraries Rock” and we will start off with a “Summer Blast Off” Party where you can register and have some fun (hopefully the weather will cooperate). We will even have an option for kids attending the Marinette City Supervised Playgrounds.  Check the  event listings in the newspaper and on Facebook throughout the summer for themes and details.

All programs/events are free and open to the public.

Manure & Water Quality in Marinette County discussion @ Wausaukee on April 27 @ 10AM 4PM

Manure is well known as one of nature’s most perfect fertilizers and is an essential component of all livestock farms. However, there are potential drawbacks to using manure in certain situations.  Scott Reuss, UW-Extension Horticulture and Agriculture Agent for Marinette and Oconto counties, will present a discussion about this very topic at the Wausaukee Public Library on Friday, April 27th @ 10AM.  This event is free and no registration is necessary.  Information and handouts will available to all attendees.  For more information call Scott @ 715-732-7510 or the library @ 715-856-5995.
