Dianna Larson will be presenting a program on parrots at the Niagara Public Library on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. The topics that Dianne will touch on will be the differences in parrots, nutrition, husbandry, environment and parrot safety. This presentation will be geared not towards just the novice thinking about getting a parrot, but also the more experienced bird owner and what they can expect when owning a parrot.
Dianna is a certified avian specialist through P.I.J.A.C. (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council) in Washington, D.C. and the owner/proprietor of Snuttles’ Hut Parrot Rescue & Refuge. Dianna takes in unwanted, neglected and abused birds and works to get them rehabilitated and placed into good homes. Dianna has 18 years of experience in rescuing and rehabilitating companion birds.
